Cummins and Saline Water Conversion Corporation have joined forces to develop a hydrogen gas production plant in Saudi Arabia. The duo said it has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the plans, which focus on developing sustainable solutions for the water industry sector in the Kingdom.

Saline Water says that Cummins’ financial ability to deploy large-scale hydrogen projects, backed by global presence, mass production facilities, and the active participation in different global energy councils, makes it a trusted partner for the project.

Together, the partnership will bring Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 one step to reality through the adoption of clean energies such as hydrogen.

Representatives from both Cummins and the Saline Water Conversion Corporation signed the deal on the concluding day of WETEX 2021.
